Jannes de Vries born in Meppel, Province Overijssel, The Netherlands, lived in Groningen, active as Arts Teacher at the Preadinius Gymnasium and illustrator. His works consist of mainly Biblical Scenes, Mediterranean Scenes and Scenes from the Northern Province of Groningen.
